The French parish of Mexico City dates back to 1897, when the first French Marist Fathers were sent by their mother house in Lyons to minister to the French catholics in Mexico City, most of whom at that time came from the Barcelonnette valley in France.
The Brothers of Saint John came to the parish in 2003 and have continued to serve there ever since. They are responsible for the whole parish community, whether francophone or Mexican.
School of Saint John:
The School of Saint John is an open study centre (no enrolment is necessary) that offers a solid formation in philosophy and in mystical and spiritual theology, respecting the rhythm of life, experience and formation of each person.
