What is communal life?

Vie commune

The communal life we live is a response to Jesus’ command: “Love one another as I have loved you” (Jn 13:34). John the apostle reminds us that the sure way to know God is to love your brother (1Jn 4, 7). “Living brothers together” is an experience of joy (Ps 132: 1), but also of responsibility: “What have you done with your brother? »(Gn 4:10). Our common life is led according to a rule which allows a life of prayer, work, study and apostolic mission in the service of the Church.
